What Makes Good Ergonomics?
Posture and adjustability. Our bodies aren’t designed to stay in any singular position for long periods of time, standing or sitting.. You’ll naturally find what positions you like over time, but only if your equipment gives you the ability to adjust until you find what works.
Get a standing desk before getting a chair. Good chairs are (much) more expensive, and a “standing” desk can make some bad chairs easier to sit in since an adjustable desk can change the level where your arms will rest. Plus, an adjustable desk give you the option to get out of the chair entirely.
