I’m going to presume you know what a mouse is.

A lot of people will use any mouse, but keep in mind, you’ll be holding onto it for six-eight hours a day. You’re going to want something comfortable.

Second to that, some mouses can be set to do things with gestures or additional buttons, like play/pause music, open a file, lock your PC, etc. Whether you want that is up to you. I adore it, and use it to make my workflow easier.
